About Trichology Scotland

Trichology Scotland was founded by Wil Fleeson, when he became aware of the lack of access to specialist care from fully qualified and accredited Trichologists in Scotland. On opening the hair loss and scalp clinic in Glasgow city centre, we found clients asked many questions, such as:
  • “Why Am I Losing My Hair?”
  • “Why Is My Scalp So Itchy?”
  • ”Should I Be Concerned That My Hair Is Thinning?”
It became clear that clients were previously struggling to get professional answers to their questions, which is why we treat all clients with empathy and understanding and take their concerns seriously. Get in touch today to discuss your needs.

Meet Our Founder

Wil Fleeson CiT, ART

  • Founder and CEO of Trichology Scotland
  • Registered Consultant Trichologist
  • Board Member of the Association of Registered Trichologists
  • Co-Founder and CSO of Root Cause Clinical
Wil is a globally recognised, clinical Trichologist, and a Board Member of the Association of Registered Trichologists. He has delivered trichology seminars throughout the UK and around the world, for companies such as Schwarzkopf Professional and Alterna, and he has served as a Medicolegal Trichology expert in legal cases. On his journey to becoming a certified clinical Trichologist, Wil studied with some of the UK’s finest educators in the fields of haematology, nutrition, dermatology, cell biology and microscopy. He also attended additional seminars at the University of Bedfordshire to develop a broader understanding of the correlation between hair loss and scalp conditions and the biological imbalances of the body. Gaining a qualified and academically recognised understanding of the science and biology of hair and scalp health was crucial to Wil. Passing his exams with distinction, he has a current and detailed knowledge of skin issues and other factors that affect hair growth, and he has built Trichology Scotland on the cornerstones of knowledge, ethics, and empathy.
